TOPEKA (KSNT) - Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka Director of Events and Alumni Engagement Heather Stults-Lindsay joined the 27 News morning show to discuss current and upcoming events.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka is hosting its ninth annual Stuff the Bus event. Stuff the Bus is an event aimed at providing school supplies to after-school programs for children ages K-12. Since its inception, Stuff the Bus has supported more than 17,000 kids.

Stults-Lindsay said there is still time to donate. A list of needed items can be found on their website by clicking here. A wrap-up event will be held Aug. 15 at 1 SW Security Benefit Pl.

Stults-Lindsay discussed some recruiting for middle and high school students. For adults, the center is hiring for certain positions.

"If you're looking for anything part-time to full-time, we've got a position that's available for you," Stults-Lindsay said. "We have the youth direct services people, so if you're looking for an afternoon job and want to have your evenings free we've got a lot of opportunities for that."
