Swifties turned the Eras Tour cancelation in Vienna into a beautiful celebration of friendship after terror threats
Swifties made the most of a tough situation in Vienna.
There may no longer be any Taylor Swift concerts this weekend in Vienna, but the spirit and vibes of the global superstar have remained high.
Authorities canceled all three of Swift’s planned Eras Tour shows in the Austrian capital city due to an uncovered terror plot that saw two teenage boys planning to use vehicles, explosives and various knives and machetes to attack concert-goers.
Despite the disappointment of not having a show to attend, Swifties took advantage of being in Vienna and created a new safe haven for fans. People filled the streets singing Swift’s songs, trading friendship bracelets and showing off the outfits they had planned for so long.
The city got in on the celebration, offering free food, trinkets and more to the fans who remained. In the face of what could have been unspeakable horror, something beautiful emerged.
