Saytek reveals the technology behind his new tracks Octival and AS1D
NOW in his third decade performing live electronic music, British artist Saytek is embarking on his first American tour later this year bringing his irresistible, improvised house and techno grooves to dance floors across the pond.
Having started the year flying high with his Twenty album on Carl Cox’s Awesome Soundwave label, in addition to performing jaw dropping live shows across the world, he consistently creates compelling tunes crafted from his improvised live shows, never tiring from pushing the boundaries of his sound.
His new Octival EP on his own Cubism label is a perfect snapshot of his current sound and we caught up with him this week as he prepares to return to Berlin to perform at Rave The Planet, Sisyphos and KitKat club and we asked him to talk us through the making of both tracks on the new release, Octival and AS1D.
