Withdraw grains, not cash: Odisha launches India's first 24/7 rice ATM

India launched its first 24/7 grain ATM in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, unveiled by Minister Krushna Chandra Patra and World Food Programme's Nozomi Hashimoto. Named Annapurti, this ATM will provide beneficiaries with rice or wheat after biometric authentication, aiming to eliminate PDS delays. The initiative will expand to other districts, and the machine is energy-efficient and space-friendly.
