Today’s weather: Another hot sunny day

Once the early morning mist, fog, and low cloud have cleared, Friday will be another warm and sunny summer’s day for the most part.

Temperatures will rise to 38 degrees Celsius inland, 32 degrees Celsius on the west and southwest coasts, 34 degrees Celsius on the rest of the coasts, and 31 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

The skies will remain mostly clear overnight, though tempered by low cloud in parts, with thin mist and fog expected to form inland and in the southeast during the early hours of Saturday morning.

Temperatures will drop to 22 degrees Celsius inland, 24 degrees Celsius on the coasts, and 20 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Throughout the weekend and into Monday, the weather will remain mostly warm with mostly clear skies, though there remains the possibility of short bursts of rain in the mountains.

Temperatures are expected to remain stable throughout the weekend, with the mercury set to rise again on Monday.
