FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Thursday Evening,

It has been a warm day with hazy sunshine, and a few isolated very brief showers that have popped up during the day, with more activity in the southeast as expected. Tonight we will be stuck between an approaching cold front to the northwest, and moisture moving up the east coast from Tropical Depression Debby. Lows will drop to the lower 70s to upper 60s overnight.

The cold front will help move what is left of Debby up the east coast, and should keep the bulk of the moisture out of our area on Friday, with clouds slowly thinning out, and high temps near normal in the middle 80s. One thing to note, with all these features nearby, we will be expecting a breezy day for Friday.

Friday night temps will drop back below normal into the mid to upper 50s. It is possible to the north a few areas will drop to the lower 50s. Saturday should be a beautiful day with sunshine, and highs in the upper 70s. Sunday will start off cooler, in the low to mid 50s, and will climb to the upper 70s in the afternoon.

Next week, the main storm track will be just to our south. On this path, expect that we will see a slow increase in clouds though the week, with temps slowly moderating back to normal. We will be in the lower 80s on Monday, low to mid 80s on Tuesday, and mid 80s on Wednesday and Thursday. We will start with mostly sunny skies early week, turning partly cloudy, with mixed clouds late week.
