New Victrola Stream Sapphire Offers Sonos And UPNP Integration
Record player specialist Victrola has launched the latest flagship edition to its line of Stream turntables, the Victrola Stream Sapphire. Featuring enhanced connectivity solutions, the Victrola Stream Sapphire allows vinyl to stream to Sonos and UPnP-compatible Wi-Fi enabled speakers and devices.
Users can stream to their preferred speaker setup via the Victrola Stream app, allowing easy streaming to Sonos and compatible Wi-Fi-enabled speakers and audio devices with no additional equipment needed.
Built for vinyl enthusiasts, the Victrola Stream Sapphire features a low-resonance MDF plinth wrapped with real walnut veneer, aluminum bezel, and height-adjustable aluminum sound-dampening feet for easy leveling and isolation. A two-speed, brushless motor provides quiet speed control, while the pre-installed audiophile-grade Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge attached to a removable headshell, low-resonance carbon-fiber tonearm, and precision gimbal-bearing design minimizes distortion. The built-in pre-amp and gold-plated RCA outputs allow for playback on traditional component audio systems or modern powered speakers. The Stream Sapphire supports up to 24-bit/48kHz lossless FLAC audio.
The Victrola Stream Sapphire is available for pre-order at specialty audio retailers Audio Advice and Crutchfield and will be made available on victrola.com and select custom installation dealers in mid-August for a suggested retail price of $1,299.
