GEORDIE Shore’s Sam Gowland has claimed he’s a ‘millionaire’ after being told he’d ‘never work in TV again’.

Sam, 29, who shot to fame on Love Island in 2017, has since gone on to make his fortune through the property market and Forex trading.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, the Middlesbrough lad shared a clip from an uncredited podcast today where he bragged about his bank balance.

He said: “So funnily enough, I remember the last ever thing that was said to me was, ‘I’m gonna make sure you never ever work on TV again. I’m gonna make sure of it.’

“In fairness, she was correct because there was a three-year, I’m sure I was blacklisted. I couldn’t get any TV show.

“But I’m telling you, to this day, that is what really sprung me into action because I thought, ‘If I’m not gonna get no TV work, I’ve got no money so I’m gonna have to sort of create something myself.’

“Lo and behond, two or three years later I became a millionaire because I had to put my own plan into action without TV and then, after that, the amount of TV I’ve had now since that because of… not saying what I’ve achieved but because of what I’ve done based off the back of that has probably surprised some people, it’s crazy so…”

While Sam didn’t name the person who had threatened to keep him off the box, fans speculated that it could be his ex-girlfriend Chloe Ferry.

Sam had commented: “Anyone guess who said that btw?” to which one follower replied: “Chloe ?” and another said: “I thought your beef was squashed last episodes on holiday? @chloegshore1.”

A third added: “Chloe. Just bingeing GS at the minute and to be honest your relationship didn’t stand a chance in that house.

“Sophie [Kasaei] constantly moaning when ye slept in the same room despite the fact you were living together on the outside . I couldn’t understand her problem with you? Did a lot happen off camera?”

Chloe, who split from Sam back in 2020 after more than three years together, opened up to The Sun about their breakup this year.

She told us of Sam’s Geordie Shore return in the most recent series: “Sam comes back which is mad because I hadn’t seen him in four years.

“There were a lot of things that I had to ask him, loads of things that I needed answers, he had a missing piece that I needed back.

“He made us feel like s*** on the floor and then after finally speaking to him, I feel like I held my own and finally got to say what I needed.

“I felt great after and I feel a lot of girls is going to look up to us and say ‘f****** hell, I wish I said that to my ex’.”

The Newcastle babe continued: “There is nothing better than seeing your ex-boyfriend when you’re feeling great about yourself.

“When I walked in there, I was showing off, I was shaking them f****** hips, I walked in there flicking my hair as well.

“It was really good, of course it was really intense.”

Sam originally appeared on the MTV show between 2018 and 2019, with his rocky relationship with Chloe featuring heavily.
