ANDI Peters was left red-faced after suffering a technical glitch during Friday’s episode of Good Morning Britain.
The 54-year-old was on GMB to introduce the latest competition – but was very unprepared when it was time for his segment.
Presenter Andi confessed he’d unplugged his microphone to go to the toilet just before being live on the show, with him looking shocked as the camera cut to him.
He was seen pulling out his mic pack and realising it was unplugged, resulting in Andi yelling: “Run the VT!”
Main hosts Kate Garraway and Rob Rinder found the moment hilarious but Andi joked: “Seriously, don’t get rid of me!”
Pretending to be on the phone to the GMB bosses, he added: “I went to the toilet, that’s why I unplugged it! Right OK.”
Last month Andi left his co-stars stunned when he revealed his age while celebrating his birthday live on the show.
Host Ranvir Singh told viewers it was his birthday, and said: “We have a special surprise – tell us how old you are?”, to which he replied: “54.”
She continued: “54? Look at his face!”
He kept repeating the number as he said: “I know, I know.”
Ranvir continued: “We have had a cake made of you doing what you do best – broadcasting from the beach!”
And, before Ben Shephard left GMB to host This Morning, Andi took a savage swipe at the rumoured £500k salary he was getting to make the move.
Ben, 49, was chatting to Myleene Klass, 45, and her 16-year-old daughter Ava about the teen’s incredible music talent.
He said: “Look at the Klasses, they’re all class!”
Andi chimed in: “I see what he did there! That’s why he gets the big bucks. Allegedly.”
