Citizens can't be made to run from pillar to post in matters of life, liberty: SC on Sisodia bail
The Supreme Court of India on Friday emphasized that citizens cannot be made to endure unnecessary procedural delays in matters involving life and liberty. This statement came as the court rejected objections from the CBI and ED against AAP leader Manish Sisodia’s right to file a second set of special leave petitions challenging a Delhi High Court verdict that denied him bail in the excise policy cases.
