Woman, 82, punched, slammed and stomped on in the Bronx: NYPD
WILLIAMSBRIDGE, The Bronx (PIX11) – An 82-year-old woman was brutally attacked in the Bronx on Aug. 2, according to the NYPD.
It happened near East 212th Street and White Plains Road in Williamsbridge around 7 p.m. The woman was approached by a man and a woman when she was punched, slammed to the ground and stomped on, per police.
The suspects fled the scene going eastbound on East 212th Street toward Holland Avenue, according to authorities.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi for her injuries.
The man was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, blue shorts and gray and black sneakers. The woman suspected in the crime was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, white sneakers and carrying a black cross-body bag.
