West Brom's Jayson Molumby escapes competitive ban as FA punish punch-up

Albion midfielder Jayson Molumby has been hit with a five-figure fine and a ban from friendly matches after the flare-up in last month's behind-closed-doors clash with Real Mallorca.

The Republic of Ireland international has been fined £16,000 after he admitted to a charge of violent conduct during the warm-up fixture at the club's training base in Walsall this summer.
