'Dump those traitors': MAGA fans revolt and demand Trump fire top campaign managers

Donald Trump is being asked by some supporters to "fire" his top campaign advisors — so much so that it has affected what topics are trending on the former president's social media network, Truth Social.

On Friday morning, the former president's Truth Social platform was deluged with complaints about campaign managers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles with #DumpLaCivita and #DumpWiles becoming top topics.

The revolt was likely begun by far-right extremist Nick Fuentes who wrote on X late Thursday night, "Tonight I declared a new Groyper War against the Trump campaign. We support Trump, but his campaign has been hijacked by the same consultants, lobbyists, & donors that he defeated in 2016, and they're blowing it. Without serious changes we are headed for a catastrophic loss."

He later added, "This is NOT a purity spiral, this is about living up to the AMERICA FIRST credo put forth by Trump in 2016 which will ensure VICTORY in 2024. On Monday I will present a detailed statement of the facts, a mission statement, and a plan of action on my Rumble channel. STAY TUNED."

It appears to have worked.

Heeding the call, Fuentes' fans swamped Truth Social, with @DINKLEBERG_AF complaining to Donald Trump, "PLEASE #FireLaCivita #FireWiles and #hiremcentee Get the campaign back on track and dump those america last traitors."

DisinformationEnjoyer observed "Except the polls aren’t looking like that right now. Trump needs to #FireLaCivita and #FireWiles and get some loyalists on his team."

"Trump wants to serve the people and make America great again the problem is he’s been subverted and tricked by traitorous people with global interests that don’t care about what’s best for the nation," Faithful_son_of_the_church accused, which prompted PrivatePreferences to agree and explain, "I am just a concerned patriot worried about the future of my country."

"I can clearly see that the Trump 2024 campaign is FAILING! We want to see changes! We want the energy, passion, and future-facing vision that we know Donald Trump for. Stop the autopilot into oblivion and fight for us!"

Tickle Tipson wrote, "I''m FOR TRUMP! But we need to SAVE him from the IDIOT campaign managers leading him to RUIN! Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles and letting the Trump campaign lose all it's momentum! The must be fired and replaced by Trump loyalists! #FireLaCivita #FireWiles"

An excitable Gargoylegroyper wrote, "FIRE CHRIS LACIVITA AND SUSIE WILES! TRUMP IS DOOMED IF HIS FATE IS LEFT IN THE HANDS OF NEVER TRUMPERS."
