THE CHEAPEST petrol stations to fill up your car in the UK have been revealed – is your local on the list?
With the cost of filling up your car steadily rising again, choosing the right pump has never been more important, according to Auto Express.
Fortunately, drivers can now easily find the cheapest petrol stations in the UK using our interactive map.
Motorists in Essex are in luck with Applegreen’s station on Barnhorn Road offering 133.8p a litre.
Similarly, residents from Hastings won’t have to drive far to get a good deal on fuel with Jet’s branch on Bexhill Road diesel costing just 135.9p per litre and 141.9p for diesel.
Sainsbury’s offers some of the lowest petrol prices among the major UK supermarkets.
Drivers at the retailer’s Falls Road fuel station in Belfast can fill up with diesel for 139.9p per litre, while petrol is available at just 136.9p per litre.
The supermarket’s pumps at Raglan Street, Wolverhampton, and Riverside Regional Centre, Coleraine, both offer petrol at 136.9p per litre and diesel at 138.9p per litre.
Some motorists in Leeds will be delighted to see their local Jet station on the list.
The branch on Hunslet Road also offers petrol at 136.9p per litre, but diesel is significantly higher at 144.9p.
Applegreen’s stations in Crawley, West Sussex, and Scunthorpe, Humberside, are nearly 1p more expensive than Leeds’ Jet branch, with petrol priced at 137.8p per litre.
However, drivers needing diesel should choose Applegreen’s station in Scunthorpe over Crawley, as it is 2p cheaper.
Another Sainsbury’s station offering the cheapest petrol prices in the UK is in Hastings.
Drivers should head to John Macadam Way for 137.9p a litre and 142.9p for diesel.
Similar prices can be found at Jet’s petrol station on the A12 Northbound towards Ipswich.
They offer petrol at 137.9p per litre, with diesel priced higher at 143.9p per litre.
