Now, filming has just commenced on the eagerly anticipated follow up season of Beyond Paradise.

The new series of the hit crime drama promises to deliver even more intriguing mysteries.

Humphrey (Kris Marshall) and Martha (Sally Bretton) will once again be reunited after they nearly married in series two.

The pair are set to continue their heartfelt journey of fostering as the Shipton Abbott police team attempts to solve more crimes.

They will also be joined by the likes of DS Esther Williams (Zahra Ahmadi), PC Kelby Hartford (Dylan Llewellyn), and Anne Lloyd (Barbara Flynn).

Felicity Montagu (Margo Martins), Jade Harrison (CS Charlie Woods), and Melina Sinadinou (Zoe Williams) will also all return in their respective roles.

The series will also see the return of Martha’s old flame, Archie Hughes (Jamie Bamber).

He will be back in Shipton Abbott, following his departure in the first series, and he will face an unexpected challenge.

The new instalment will once again be set against the picturesque backdrops of Devon and Cornwall, where the team will be back in action.

Cases are set to include a dead body that is found in a river, a spiking incident, a confusing chocolate box poisoning, and a historic feud related to farming.

BBC One and BBC iPlayer will both show the third series when it eventually returns to screens.

It was also co-commissioned with BritBox International, and the hit limited drama will also be available on the platform in the US and Nordic markets.

135 territories across the world carry the show, and it remains one of the most watched TV dramas in the country.

Beyond Paradise was previously crowned as the winner of Best New Drama at the 2024 TV Choice Awards.
