Tottenham Failed With Cash-Plus Player Bid For Winger Earlier In Window

Wolves rejected a cash-plus player bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Chelsea-bound winger Pedro Neto this summer, according to the Express & Star.

Chelsea have a deal in place to sign the Portuguese winger from Wolves in the ongoing transfer window.

Neto is set to travel to London soon to undergo a medical ahead of completing a £54m move to the Blues this summer.

However, Tottenham were also interested in the winger and did table a bid for the Portuguese earlier in the window.

It has been claimed that Spurs offered cash plus Oliver Skipp to Wolves to take Neto to north London in the ongoing transfer window.

But Wolves were quick to reject the bid and they also knocked back another cash-plus player offer from Chelsea.

The Blues also failed with another cash offer before Wolves accepted their latest bid for Neto.

The winger has been keen on a move to Chelsea and has a verbal agreement in place over a contract.
