Here's a look at the latest rainfall forecast for Oklahoma this weekend

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — It's another weather pattern shift this weekend with the Heat Dome moving west and the Jet Stream dropping more south impacting Oklahoma. 

You can expect much cooler temps with waves of showers and thunderstorms this weekend. 

The best time for rain in OKC is late night into morning hours.  However, rain is possible any time.  Clouds and rain will keep temps very cool with highs in the 60s / 70s north to 80s south. 

As you can see from the graphic the heaviest rain occurs in northern Oklahoma with less rain to the south. 

Next week the Heat Dome moves back east and the high heat returns to Oklahoma.
