I’m A Celeb winner reveals he’s turned down Strictly AND Dancing On Ice – but WOULD go back to the jungle for All Stars
CARL Fogarty has turned down offers for Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing on Ice.
Following his I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here success in 2014, Carl has been poached by other reality shows.
The superbike racer said that there was no chance he would do Strictly, but would consider an All Stars version of I’m A Celeb.
“No, you wouldn’t see me in a pink leotard, throwing shapes around the dance floor. No chance!” he told Spin Casino.
“And I couldn’t do Dancing On Ice because I’ve got wobbly knees and dodgy legs from my bike days. I’ve done the main one and won that so I’ll quit after that,” he added.
Talking about his time in the jungle, he said: “I thought I’d be the first one out. To go the whole way and win, it was mad. I just fell to the floor when they announced me as ‘King of the Jungle.’
“I thought: ‘Oh, my God. I’m just an ordinary lad from Blackburn.’ I would do an All Stars version. I don’t know why, but I’d love to go back.”
Carl, who goes by the nickname Foggy, earned multiple awards for holding the highest number of race wins ever.
Raised by former World Superbike star George Fogarty, he made his first competitive debut when he was 14.
His daughter Claudia featured on Love Island’s winter series in 2023.
Whilst he was supportive of Claudia’s new-found fame, he said it was “cringy”.
He said: “She went in hoping it would help her career really and give her something to do and it has done really. So, it kind of works from that point of view. But to be honest it was a bit cringy watching it! It wasn’t great!!”
Claudia recently enjoyed a trip to Ibiza with her new boyfriend footballer Olly Crankshaw.
The pair went abroad with Claudia’s friend Hannah Monk, and in the caption she joked: “Not sure who my favourite partner is….”
She included a selfie with Hannah in the post as well as the couple picture of Claudia and Olly.
Fans flocked to the comments to compliment the beauty, with one writing: “Both are so cute….”
Another added: “Look like sisters!”
Hannah giggled: “Me obviously.”
