ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The 2024 Presidential race intensified this week as the Harris and Trump campaigns crisscrossed the nation to bring their message to voters. Siena College released a poll determining New York voters' favorability of the candidates.

Steve Greenberg, a pollster for Siena College, explained that the data collected in polls shows a "snapshot" of voter opinions at a certain time. A poll released on August 6 found that Harris leads over Trump by 14 Points (53-39%).

"...and more important than polls being just a snapshot in time what you really want to look at is trends over time which way is the line moving? is it moving up or is it moving down because as you know momentum like in sports in politics momentum matters a lot," said Greenberg.

Also this week, Henry Rosoff, a reporter with WPIX in New York City, gave an update on a recent audit from the NYC Comptroller on the deal the city made with the company DocGo.
