Albany County crime victim center receives state grant

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center received new funding to support underserved communities. The county was awarded $722,500 from the New York State Department of Health.

Local officials said the funding will be used for a new initiative targeting the root causes of sexual violence. The money will be given out in installments over the next four years.
