President Murmu arrives in Timor-Leste to boost bilateral ties

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Timor-Leste, making history as the first Indian Head of State to visit the country. The visit is part of her three-nation tour. During her stay, she met with President Jose Ramos-Horta and Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao, and discussed plans to open embassies in each other's capitals.
