FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Today's forecast will be fantastic with low humidity, cool temperatures, and plenty of sunshine. Highs will stay in the upper 70s for central Ohio. That is well below normal for this time of year. It will almost be a taste of fall.

Tonight skies stay mostly clear. Lows will drop to a crisp 56 degrees in Columbus and low 50s outside of the city center. Winds will be very light overnight. Expect a very calm and quiet night weather wise.

Tomorrow the beautiful weekend weather continues. The one difference will be a slightly warmer high temperature. We'll top off near 80 degrees. Plenty of sunshine will be expected with a decent breeze coming from the west.

A center of high pressure continues to settle over the Ohio river valley. This will continue our quiet weather trend into the new work week. There are very few chances for rain over the next seven days. This is not good news for areas in central Ohio that are still experiencing moderate to severe drought.
