One user humorously coined the term, sparking a viral trend online with a video showcasing numerous ‘Pregnant Cars’ with distorted paint layers.

The video captures cars with visibly bulging paint on their fronts, while some vehicles exhibit bulges all over their bodies. Users on X are also claiming that such impact is only visible on locally-made cars.

Some users have rejected Jennifer’s claim that the impact is visible on China-made cars only, saying these are mostly aftermarket protective wraps. “The joke is on you that you don’t even realize these are aftermarket wraps,” wrote Wan Chun Hung.
