Sports Direct shoppers go wild over ‘bargain’ kids garden essential reduced from £59.99 to £9.99
SHOPPERS are flocking to Sports Direct for a garden essential that’s perfect for kids and it’s been reduced to less than a tenner.
An eagle-eyed customer spotted the deal online and shared it with others on social media.
The wooden sandpit with coloured benches, which measures 103cm X 78cm X 160cm, has been put on sale for just £9.99, reduced from £59.99.
She shared a screenshot of the item on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group and wrote: “Absolute bargain.”
Writing in the comment, another shopper said: “Nice! Really hope Sports Direct have some left come next week.”
Another added: “Omg so good!”
A third cried: “Looks fab!”
If you’re keen to get one of the discounted sandpits, you might want to visit the Sports Direct website sooner rather than later as these deals don’t tend to stick around for long.
It’s important to bear in mind that you will have to fork out a little extra cash for delivery.
The sandpit is also available from online retailer Studio with the same 83% discount.
It’s not clear whether the sandpit is sold in Sports Direct stores, so it could be worth calling your local branch to see if they have what you’re looking for in stock.

The sandpit comes with an internal fabric ground cover to prevent weeds from growing.
It also has rounded edges for added safety and two benches for resting.
The product description reads: “Bring the beach to your garden for your little one, with our Toylife wooden sandpit.
“Let your child’s imagination go creative with sandcastle building, digging and making shapes in the sand.
With enough space for them and three friends, they will be entertained for hours.”

When we checked online, we couldn’t find a sandpit for £10 or under.
Argos is selling a Chad Valley hippo sand pit, measuring 71cm X 34cm, for £28. This is smaller than the one on sale at Sports Direct.
Homebase’s Plum Junior Natural Wooden Sand Pit is similar to the Sports Direct model but it is priced at £24, reduced from £40.
