SSPD: Three arrested after burglary on Broadway
Police said three people have been arrested following an early morning burglary at Lola on Broadway.
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Police said three people have been arrested following an early morning burglary at Lola on Broadway. Police have yet to release the names of the suspects they arrested and said there is no ongoing threat of danger to the public.
Police said the burglary happened around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. A pursuit began near Exit 11 on the Northway, and two suspects and a suspect vehicle were identified. Three people are in custody, police said.
The arrest comes four days after the Saratoga Springs Police Department issued an arrest warrant for a man who police believe is a suspect in the December 2023 burglary of Lola. Police said Toron Melton, 34, of Washington D.C., is accused of the 2023 burglary after allegedly stealing over $100,000 in luxury handbags.
Police added that the investigation is ongoing and that more information will be available later in the day. Stay with NEWS10 as more information becomes available.
