State, fed officials to investigate ‘ridiculous’ apple waste in NYC schools

State and federal officials are headed to New York City to investigate its Big Apple crisis after an exposé by The Post detailed thousands of cases of fruit going to waste -- while the city continues to tell vendors to keep accepting more deliveries.
