BERLIN, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Things were well-prepared when Timo Boll left the international stage of sports after the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, his seventh Games, and couldn't wait to start traveling for private reasons.

This Friday, three days after the defeat in the team event against Sweden on Tuesday, the icon paddler took off for a vacation with his family in their courted caravan.
