Manchester City crowned 2024 Community Shield winners

LONDON, 10th August, 2024 (WAM) -- Manchester City have won the 2024 Community Shield after beating Manchester United on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Wembley Stadium.

Bernardo Silva's close-range header in the 89th minute cancelled out Alejandro Garnacho's opener which forced the show-piece to spot-kicks.

Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Savinho, Ederson, Matheus Nunes, Ruben Dias and Manuel Akanji made no
