Insiders Say It’s Just a ‘Matter of When’ Bradley Cooper & Gigi Hadid Make This Monumental Step

Ever since Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid were first spotted together, rumors about their impending engagement have been hotter than a summer day in the Hamptons. Despite only being publicly linked for about nine months, their increasingly public romance has everyone wondering about when (not if) they’ll be taking the next big step.

Cooper and Hadid have managed to keep things surprisingly under wraps since they were first spotted together in October 2023. Even as the two took weekend getaways in upstate New York and other romantic excursions, It wasn’t until their couple’s retreat to Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, earlier this year in April with arguably the most famous couple in the biz, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, that the world started to really take notice of the celebrity couple’s seriousness.

“Bradley has already determined he is going to ask Gigi to marry him,” an insider revealed to Life & Style Magazine, adding that Cooper is reportedly “determined” to pop the question, as he’s found “the one.”

This isn’t just a passing thought, either. They two reportedly discussed family and marriage early on in their relationship. Despite their 20-year age difference, these two are clearly on the same page. “They have been committed to each other and to their plans for some time and now it is just a matter of when,” says the source close to the Maestro star.

But not every moment of this newer romance has been smooth sailing for the actor and supermodel. After Irina Shayk, Cooper’s ex-wife, and Tom Brady called it quits in early May 2024, Hadid has reportedly been uneasy about Cooper’s close relationship with his ex. Considering Shayk and Cooper co-parent their 7-year-old daughter, Lea, it’s understandable that Hadid might feel a little nervous about the whole situation. “Irina and Bradley’s relationship now is so unconventionally clingy, it’s enough to make Gigi uncomfortable,” an insider previously told the publication back in May. Yet, despite these hiccups, Cooper and Hadid seem more solid than ever.

Their relationship isn’t exactly a secret anymore, especially after being spotted at multiple star-studded concerts. In May, the two went to Swift’s show in Paris alongside Kelce, and a couple weeks later, they were at Stevie Nicks’ set at the BottleRock Food and Music Festival in Napa Valley on May 28, where they were seen dancing and getting cozy in the crowd before Bradley joined Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder on stage.

Apart from their high-profile dates and festival dates, Hadid and Cooper have introduced their kids to one another and are even discussing moving in together. “They are each other’s person and are there for each other in such a way that spending the rest of their lives together seems to be the next phase for them both,” another insider previously shared.

Could there be another double date engagement on the horizon? With the pair spending quality time with their A-list pals, it’s not far-fetched to think so. “To be engaged and married within the next year is something nobody should be surprised about,” a source noted at the beginning of the year. Now, the real question is whether their weekend getaway pal Kelce will pop the question to Swift before Cooper does with Hadid.
