Joey Essex and Jessy Potts continue to fuel showmance rumours as he visits another nightclub and she parties with pals
JOEY Essex and Jessy Potts have been accused of staging a ‘showmance’ by cynical fans.
The couple, who were booted off the show just before the final, have been enjoying separate social engagements since leaving the villa.
Joey, 33, was seen fist-bumping and taking selfies with fans at Pryzm in Kingston last night while Jessy, 25, went out with pals.
The Towie legend shared videos from the night, writing: “It’s all love out ere,” on his stories.
Jessy, who was also out in London, looked incredible as she posed with her friends.
She also wore fancy dress to celebrate her pal’s birthday.
The theme of the party was to dress up in childhood photos of the birthday girl.
Jessy wore a blonde wig with a full fringe, a tiara and a white tutu.
This comes as fans accused the couple of faking their relationship for the sake of airtime.
Whilst the pair got off to a good start after they returned to reality, their dates appear to have dwindled.
Joey didn’t attend Jessy’s homecoming party which was thrown for her by family and friends.
Joey also revealed that he was quitting the UK to find fame in America during an interview with This Morning.
One took to Reddit to remark: “Not one time did he ever consider the fact that Jessy may or may not come with him to America – and quite frankly, I don’t think he gives a damn if she does.”
“How will Jessy even get to America? Is she going to America?
“Logistically speaking, Jessy isn’t gonna stop her career to see her boyfriend filming on set for some reality tv show.”
They also added: “It’s also safe to say that he doesn’t take her feelings into consideration when he constantly says, in various interviews and also on Love Island, that he went to the villa for a laugh. Joey didn’t give a s**t who he was paired with, as long as he got into the final as promised (which completely landed flat on his face).
“All of this leads me to think that Joey’s always gonna look out for number one – himself.”
“Everything is me, me, me. Everyone called a spade a spade on day 52 – Joey is a game player who will always prioritise his career before anything else.”
However Joey hit back at the skepticism and exclusively told The Sun how he has “found the one” in Jessy last week.
