Former Celtics Forward Posterizes LeBron James During Olympic Final

Guerschon Yabusele wants back in the NBA and it seems like the former Boston Celtics forward is using the Olympic stage as his audition to achieve just that.

Yabusele, who suits up for France, even added a highlight-reel play involving LeBron James that he can show off to executives around the league.

The beefy 6-foot-8 forward, who earned the nickname "Dancing Bear" during his time with the Celtics, skied over the NBA superstar and threw down a posterizing dunk with James in its wake during the first half of Saturday's gold medal game against Team USA.

James, who came over as a help defender to try to prevent Yabusele from getting to the basket, was called for a block on the play, too. You can watch Yabusele's athletic slam here:

That play could be the cherry on top of a standout showing in the Olympics for Yabusele. He's been one of France's top players during the games and even had the home Paris crowd giving him MVP chants.

On the floor with some of the best players in the world with a goal medal at stake, it was Yabusele who led all scorers at halftime with 15 points.

The 28-year-old was drafted 16th overall by the Celtics in the 2016 NBA draft and ended up playing 74 games over two seasons for Boston. He averaged just 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game over that time.

It sure seems like Yabusele could get another shot at the NBA given the way his Olympics went. He looks like a much more polished and versatile. Just ask James about that.
