Jennings man charged with attempted murder in Friday shooting, police say
JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) -- A 28-year-old man is facing charges in connection with a Friday shooting in Jennings, according to the Jennings Police Department.
Jennings police said Kaynan Montae Deshotel, of Jennings, is charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal carrying and discharge of weapons.
According to jail records, Deshotel was booked into the Jefferson Davis Parish jail around 10 a.m. Saturday.
The shooting was reported around 6 p.m. Friday on Bryan Street, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
