TEEN thugs as young as 13 were among a string of yobs nailed for rioting yesterday.
Some wept as they admitted offences including burglary, affray and violent disorder.
A lad of 13 tearfully admitted his role, which included smashing up a bus.
He was among 200 thugs who hurled bricks and bottles at migrants in Newton Heath, Manchester, on July 31.
The boy told a court in the city he was just “caught up” in the violent scenes at a hotel for asylum seekers and refugees.
District Judge Lucy Hogarth granted him conditional bail.
As he was led away from the dock, his mum told the judge: “Thank you so much.”
A boy, 15, faces sentencing after hurling beer kegs at windows in a riot in Sunderland, Tyne & Wear.
His parents watched him plead guilty to violent disorder and burglary. He will be in court next week.
A lad of 16, who stole £15,000 of vapes, cried in the dock in Liverpool as he confessed to violent disorder, burglary and criminal damage.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer.
He was bailed and will be sentenced on September 17.
Meanwhile, Andrew Stewart, 37, and Brandon Kirkwood, 20, both from Hull, were each jailed for two-and-a-half years on Friday.
They admitted violent disorder after riots in the city.
Stewart targeted migrants housed at a hotel. Kirkwood clashed with police.
Charlie Bullock, 21, from Middlesbrough, was jailed for 18 months for violent disorder after pelting police with rocks in the town last Sunday.
And Ozzie Kush, 20, from Reading, Berks, got 46 weeks in a young offender institution after pleading guilty to assaulting an emergency worker in London on July 31.
Nearly 750 arrests have been made and 302 charges brought.
