To the editor: Democrat ticket told to deceive voters

In your lead editorial Friday, The Blade praises Kamala Harris’ “brilliant choice” of Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. It praises her “political acumen” of this choice that could “hardly be more progressive and left wing.” You conclude saying she should follow Joe Biden’s “lead” of campaigning on “a moderate course.” More clearly stated, she should misrepresent her candidacy in order to deceive the American people. Politics rarely takes the high road, but this road is below sea level.
