Man in intensive care after motorbike crash

A 22-year-old man is in intensive care after being involved in a road traffic collision in the Nicosia suburb of Latsia on Saturday.

The man was riding a motorcycle when, under circumstances under investigation by the police, he was hit with a car being driven by a 49-year-old man.

He was intubated and remains in intensive care at the Nicosia general hospital.

The police’s investigation into the matter is ongoing.
