Coast Guard DG Rakesh Pal passes away due to heart attack in Chennai

Rakesh Pal, the Director General of Indian Coast Guard, died in Chennai after suffering a heart attack. He was discussing preparations for Defence Minister Rajnath Singh's visit when he was taken to the hospital but did not survive. Pal, who was appointed last year, had an illustrious career of over 35 years in the service.
