Woman killed in Hazelwood neighborhood shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A woman was shot and killed in Northeast Portland's Hazelwood neighborhood early Sunday morning, police said.

Just before 2:45 a.m., officers responded to the area of Northeast 104th Avenue and Northeast Wasco Street on reports a person had been shot.

On arrival, they found a woman dead.

Police say no arrests have been made and no possible suspects have been detained at this time.

During the investigation, Northeast Wasco Street was closed between Northeast 102nd Avenue and Northeast 106th Avenue.

No further information, including the identity of the victim, has been released at this time.
