The Bookmobile will stop at Girard Park this Monday
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- The Go Go Biblio Bookmobile of the Lafayette Public Library will be at Girard Park this Monday at 11 a.m.
The Bookmobile is an outreach service of the Lafayette Public Library.
The mobile library is stocked full of books for all ages. The collection also includes DVDs and audiobooks. Bookmobile offers computer classes, crafts, STEM activities, and early literacy programs in addition to books.
"The Lafayette Public Library is always seeking innovative ways to serve our community better. With the Bookmobile, we can now bring the library's services directly to our patrons, no matter where they are. This initiative is particularly vital for seniors and families who may find it challenging to access our physical branches. The Bookmobile embodies our commitment to improving equity in library services throughout the parish," Lafayette Public Library said.
The Bookmobile has a full schedule and will return to Girard Park on Sept. 9 and Sept. 30 at 11 a.m.
