IND vs AUS: 20-year-old Bowler Destroys Australian Lineup- 171 run defeat

India A secured a massive 171-run victory over Australia A in the final ODI, ending the streak of losing in the series. India A had a five match losing streak, which is now snapped off wit a reassuring victory in the final ODI. India A had been facing defeats in three T20Is in Brisbane, followed by two in the ODI series before this victory. Newbie leg-spinner Priya Mishra came out as the star of the match with her five-wicket haul, while Tejal Hasbanis and Raghvi Bist both contributed with half centuries in order to secure the win.

India A set a moderate target of 243 runs. Though Tejal and Raghvi both made half centuries, the match was named for Priya, who turned out to be a match-turning player as she had an amazing five-wicket haul. Australia A was dismissed for a score of 72 runs. The dismissal of top order ley batters such as Tess Flintoff and Maddy Darke, Priya made an impressive debut on the tour.

Priya Mishra continued her spell of destruction, as she flew through the middle order with the wickets of Nicole Faltum, Kate Peterson, and Nicola Hancock. Australia A was done for 72 runs in 22.1 overs, resulting in India securing a much-needed victory. This tour will end with an unofficial one-off Test match which will start from August 22.
