I’m 50 and have thinning skin under my eyes – my $1.25 Dollar Tree roller takes the purple out of my dark circles
A BEAUTY fan has shared the cheap Dollar Tree tool that eases her dark circles.
She revealed that a $1.25 beauty roller has worked wonders on her eye area.
Redditor Spirals73 shared the skincare tip in a post.
She explained that she doesn’t usually struggle with her under-eye area, but she occasionally sees discoloration.
“I don’t have a big problem with dark circles, but it can get purple under there,” she said.
“I have fair skin thinning under my eyes; blood shows.
“My bigger concern is slack skin. The purple doesn’t really bother me, but it’s nice when it goes away.
“I think it’s worth a try, this roller; it’s not overly expensive. Do we have to say our age? I’m 50.”
After stumbling across the Dollar Tree find, she noticed a visible difference.
“I bought a roller I found at Dollar Tree [to help] with firming it up a bit,” she said.
“It reduces the purple. It has niacinamide, Vitamin C, green tea, peptides, Vitamin K, plankton extract, vitamin A, [and] more ingredients than I can list.”
The 50-year-old skincare fan explained that while the product is difficult to find on Dollar Tree, she’s been able to find it on Amazon at a different price point.
“The name is Skin Nutrition Botanicals, and it’s a red-eye roller called Age Defy.”
The $9 Skin Nutritions Age Defy Dark Circles & Puffiness Serum roller has earned five-star reviews from other skincare enthusiasts.
“This works for me. No lines, no bags. I’ve used Ponds under-eye serum and L’Oréal, and I saw no change with the dark shadow under my eye,” she said.
After finding it in Dollar Tree, she explained that she took a chance on the serum.
“After the first tube, I saw a difference; I saw my eyes the way they should be,” she said.
“I went back and haven’t seen this product since. Out of curiosity, I tried Amazon, and this seller had it.
“Because it works. I purchased it here while I was still playing Treasure Hunt locally. Heck, we are in the middle of inflation, but this works for me.”
Another shopper agreed that it was a handy and effective under-eye treatment.
“This product wakes up your eyes,” she said.
“What I like best is that it is very cool when you roll it under your eyes like it’s been in the fridge.”
