Loose Women star takes savage swipe at Gordon Ramsay and brands him ‘chauvinistic pig’

LOOSE Women star Janet Street-Porter doesn’t mince her words and she’s certainly not held back when discussing her views on chef Gordon Ramsay.

Broadcaster Janet, who is a regular on the ITV show, revealed she has a ‘love/hate’ relationship with the restauranteur and TV foodie.

Speaking to the Sunday Mail, she shared: “Gordon Ramsay and I have always had a love/hate relationship, as he is very patronising.

“I like him, but he is a male chauvinistic pig. We do work well together and I loved being on The F Word [his previous show] with him.”

This isn’t the first time Janet has aired strong views on Gordon, and she’s previously criticised him for being so open on social media.

Speaking on Loose Women previously in 2016 she criticised him and wife Tana for revealing pregnancy news ‘early’, before they later suffered a miscarriage.

Tana Gordon was pregnant with son Rocky, but sadly miscarried at 20 weeks.

Speaking on the ITV panel show, Janet said she was ‘surprised’ Gordon and his wife had shared the news so early in their pregnancy journey.

She said: “She’s 41 and the children she already has are all teenagers.

“If it had been me, I probably would have waited a while longer to announce the pregnancy.

“It can’t be nice to have it out there in the public domain like this.”

At the time, Gordon and Tana were devastated by the loss as Gordon wrote on social media at the time: “We’re together healing as a family, but we want to thank everyone again for all your amazing support and well wishes.

“I’d especially like to send a big thank you to the amazing team at Portland Hospital for everything they’ve done. G x.”

However she has also defended Gordon, and when others slammed his decision to move his family during the 2020 pandemic from London down to their home in Cornwall she spoke out in his defence.

In her Daily Mail she wrote: “Whether we like it or not, Gordon Ramsay has the right to take his family wherever he likes, because he wants (understandably) to keep them safe.”
