So one woman was left delighted when she picked up a £2.59 Too Good to Go bag from her local store, and found it was packed with £25 worth of food.

She took to TikTok to share her haul, pulling out one item at a time, kicking off with two yum yums and a rather “sad looking” croissant.

There were also multipack items, including four sausage rolls, four sugar strand donuts and two Belgian buns.

She also got a tandoori chicken baguette, a roast chicken and bacon club baguette and a roast chicken mayonnaise baguette.

People quickly flooded the comments section weighing in on her haul.

“You’re doing well!” a Greggs employee wrote.

“We’re only meant fill bag which like £6 worth for Greggs so they must of really wanted get rid of it!”

“Got more than u should of,” another agreed.

“You got way more than me,” a third sighed.

“In my opinion the Greggs ones never disappoint,” someone else wrote.

“You have to eat this all on the same day right?” another questioned.

“Not necessarily! Some stuff keeps!” the woman replied.

“Of course it’s got a best before date on but that really depends on how it looks/smells etc!”

“That’s the holy grail of the Greggs too good to go,” someone else said.

“Wow! Bargain!” another wrote.

Greggs in numbers

Did you know Greggs sausage rolls have 96 layers of pastry?

The first Greggs opened in 1951 on Gosforth High Street.

There are also 2,473 shops around the country — a thousand more than McDonald’s.

Greggs is now valued at £2.6billion thanks to its budget deals.

Nearly £2 in every £100 spent in UK hospitality is done in a Greggs.

Newcastle still remains the sausage roll capital of the UK, with Geordies scoffing 17.9 million of them a year.

“I’ve tried to do this 3 times & each time they have refunded my money a couple of hrs before pick up,” someone else complained.

And others admitted they’d had much worse hauls than hers.

“The one time I did this and I got two tuna baguettes,” one wrote.

“Never again!”

“This is by far the best I’ve had before!!” she replied.

“I usually get a single donut and a baguette and that’s it… and it’s £3.50 at mine…” another raged.
