Bank borrowings cross Rs 9 lakh crore mark; lenders face pressure to raise funds

Data that the RBI releases on a fortnightly basis showed that as on July 26, banks’ borrowings were at Rs 9.32 lakh crore, 20% higher than the borrowing figure as on April 5.
