Donald Trump Falsely Claims Taylor Swift Endorsed Him for President, Posts AI-Generated Photo of Her

Donald Trump is making yet another false claim, this time about who has endorsed him for President.

The 78-year-old former President of the United States falsely claimed that Taylor Swift is endorsing him for president in the 2024 election with a Truth Social post over the weekend.

The Republican candidate posted a series of photos, including an AI-generated photo of the singer dressed as Uncle Sam with the text “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.”

“I accept!” Trump wrote in the post, which also featured women wearing shirts that read “Swifties for Trump,” which appear to be edited.

One screenshot comes from an article labelled satire with the headline “Swifties Turning to Trump After ISIS Foiled Taylor Swift Concert,” as The Wrap points out.

During the 2020 election, Taylor supported Joe Biden and shared her protest song “Only the Young” to the campaign.

Taylor Swift has not yet responded to the usage of her AI likeness for the former President’s post.
