Trump should be 'sued back to the Stone Age' for bogus Taylor Swift endorsement: attorney

Fans of Taylor Swift, known as "Swifties," flocked to social media to trash Donald Trump for sharing AI images purporting to show her endorsing him, and many even suggested that she sue him for the false information.

Swift, who was avidly anti-Trump in the 2020 election, has not endorsed a candidate in the 2024 race. Now it appears she's being pushed into speaking out.

While there is an X account for "Swifties for Trump," it only has 3,000 followers, whereas the account supporting Vice President Kamala Harris has over 61,000. The TikTok account for "Swifties for Harris," meanwhile, has 110,000 followers.

Given how obviously fraudulent the supposed Taylor Swift endorsement was, it quickly led to a backlash on Twitter.

Political junkie and former Iraq War veteran Peter Henlein called it "uniquely pathetic, even for Trump."

Spaces host and digital artist, "Art Candee," raised a hand in an emoji when asking, "Who else wants to see Taylor Swift sue Donald Trump?"

Legal analyst Glenn Kirschner agreed, "I hope this inspires every Taylor Swift fan to vote for Harris. And every music fan. And every person who cares about an artist's image & prestige stole by a criminal politician. And everyone who supports women's rights. Oh, and I hope Ms. Swift sues Trump back to the Stone Age."

One account with over 34,000 followers linked the post to Trump's long history with women who have accused him of sexual assault or sexual harassment.

"Trump promoting a Taylor Swift endorsement is a classic move from someone who preys on women and has NEVER given a f--k about consent," the account pointed out.

In June, Trump told a room full of Republicans that Swift would endorse him. He was immediately labeled as "weird" for making something like that up.
