According to Mooreland Chief of Police Bobby Kehn Facebook page, the way its done is you show up early at the community center and register and get an armband like when you go to a concert. The arm bands are numbered so when the kids are caught, the officer cuts the band off, so we know we have that one.

Chief Kehn says, it’s usually very packed and encourages folks attending to show up early to get registered and get an armband and the rules. The Mooreland Police Chief says safety is the rule and if you were caught, there should be absolutely no running. Mooreland leaders say, the entire event is intended for the kids to have fun and to interact with first responders. The event is expected to last one hour.

“You know, it’s not just kids who come out for this,” Kehn said. “The oldest participant we have had was 72-years-old and she had a blast.”
