Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams Are Reportedly Kissing
If you are someone who had a spiritual experience at the Eras Tour and you continue to have Normal People fan edits come across your timeline, I need you to brace yourself. I don’t want you to choke on your iced oat lavender latte when I tell you that it sure does look as though Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal are dating.
The Daily Mail reports that the singer and actor were recently spotted in London with one source saying that the couple were putting on a “loved-up display” and “kissing a lot.” The tabloid included photos of the couple strolling through the streets of Mayfair, where it sort of looks as if he’s holding her hand.
Abrams and Mescal have been hanging out all summer, and it seems that they’re ready to go public now. Back in June, TMZ published photos of the two having what looked like an intense conversation at a London restaurant. (I do not think us civilians should be seeing him stroke her cheek like that — too intimate!) Then, last month, the Sun reported that the couple were spotted shopping together (the Daily Mail supplied the photos a day later).
“Paul and Gracie looked like any other young couple hitting the shops, and they went almost unnoticed,” a source told the Sun at the time. “They seemed very relaxed in each other’s company and were busy checking out the posh shops on Bond Street.”
But wait — there’s more! Last October, Deuxmoi shared a tip that Abrams and Mescal were “hanging out/dating.” Of course, you should always take the Deuxmoi blinds with several handfuls of salt, but it is interesting. Over on the Gracie Abrams sub-Reddit, some people even think that her recently released album, The Secret of Us, is all about a prior fling she had with Mescal. Interesting!
Can’t wait to see what’s next for these crazy kids. Will Mescal go watch Abrams perform on the Canadian leg of the Eras Tour? Would Taylor Swift let him into the VIP tent considering he’s the ex-fiancé of one of her other openers–dear friends? Oh God, we have to update the Taylor Swift–Sally Rooney extended-universe diagram again.
