Former President Donald Trump returns to Pennsylvania Monday as the Democrats kick off their national convention in Chicago.

Trump is speaking in York in what is being advertised as an address about the economy.

It follows a similar address in North Carolina last week where he spoke little about the matter and went off-script to discuss his frustration with President Joe Biden no longer being his running mate.

"Funniest part of Trump's big 'economy speech' today was that he kept reminding himself aloud that he was supposed to be talking about the economy, but then immediately returned to rambling about tampons or San Francisco crime or whatever," wrote Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell, posting an excerpt of what Trump said.

On Thursday, Trump delivered an address at his Bedminster, NJ, country club where, after spending a day on the golf course, he addressed grocery prices.

In that case, Trump was mocked for standing next to a box of Fruit Loops. Among the comments he made was that he wants to raise taxes on the import of goods. Former George W. Bush speechwriter David Frum called it a horrible idea that would send costs soaring.
