AFD investigating fire at Kealing Middle School, fire 'under control'

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- The Austin Fire Department is investigating a fire at Kealing Middle School Monday night.

Around 10:40 p.m., AFD responded to the east Austin middle school for a report of "smoke on the second floor with electrical burning smell," the agency said on social media. The agency later said it was a two-alarm fire, but then updated saying the fire was "under control" and crews were investigating the cause.
