Family of Mike Lynch’s co-defendant who died after being hit by car speak out

The family of missing tech tycoon Mike Lynch’s co-defendant have paid tribute after he died in a car crash.

Stephen Chamberlain, the former vice president of finance at Lynch’s software company Autonomy, was involved in a fatal car crash on Saturday.

‘He was an amazing individual whose only goal in life was to help others in any way possible,’ Chamberlain’s family said today.

Lynch was acquitted of fraud in June, with Chamberlain having faced similar charges.

The luxury yacht Bayesian was hit by a sudden tornado off the coast of Porticello fishing village causing it to sink. One person, the sailboat’s chef, was found dead, while six people remain missing.

Jonathan Bloomer, chairman of Morgan Stanley International, and his wife are reportedly among the missing along with Lynch and his 18-year-old daughter Hannah.
